Bonnie is the Senior Human Resources Specialist for the School of Arts and Sciences, Office of Human Resources. Bonnie provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources for SAS, Karalyn Gallagher. This includes calendar management, meeting facilitation, and ad hoc projects. Bonnie is responsible for the daily Absence Reporting for the SAS Dean’s Office staff, as well as completing semi-annual audits of Absence Reporting for staff in all SAS departments and centers. Bonnie is the primary approver for all HCM transactions in the SAS Dean’s Office inclusive of time and labor, new hires, transfers, pay rate changes, terminations, administrative stipends, etc. Bonnie also works with the Data Security unit at UHR to coordinate systems access for all SAS employees (HCM, ROCS, and Absence Reporting). Bonnie will continue to handle intermittent leaves for all SAS employees and consult with OneSource as is necessary. Bonnie also coordinates logistics and event planning for SAS administrative seminars and other events hosted by SAS-HR or those in conjunction with the SAS Office of Administration.
Bonnie joined the SAS Dean’s Office as a Class 4 Business Assistant in January of 2009 and accepted a Class 1 position in the SAS Office of Administration in March of 2009. She was then promoted to a position in SAS Human Resources in December of 2012.
