Melissa provides administrative support to the Dean’s Office and the Office of Human Resources for the School of Arts and Sciences. She serves as an I-9 and HCM Preparer to onboard all classes of employees within the school. She works with the I-9 Compliance Coordinators at University Human Resources to ensure compliance with federal regulations, specifically timely completion of I-9 forms. Melissa is responsible for the daily Absence Reporting for the SAS Dean’s office and is the point person for all related inquires. Melissa is also responsible for the bi-weekly hourly payroll for students and hourly staff and adheres to the deadlines provided by University Human Resources/Payroll. She serves as the point person for the Federal Work Study Program and is responsible for facilitating FWS hires for the Dean’s Office, as well as the tracking of federal awards for each student within the program. Melissa is also one of the team members responsible for updates to the SAS Human Resources website.

Melissa joined the School of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office as an Administrative Assistant in July 2022.
