Heather supports all departments in Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences. She manages the data analysis of faculty appointments and maintains tracking spreadsheets for numerous processes including faculty hiring, retentions, leaves without salary, retirements, and resignations. Heather assists in the promotion, tenure, and reappointment process for tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty by reviewing promotion and reappointment packets. In addition, Heather also assists with the appointments for part-time lecturers and coadjutants. Heather serves as an I-9 and HCM preparer to onboard employees (staff, students, and faculty), and works with UHR to ensure all School of Arts and Sciences employees have current I-9s.
Heather joined the School of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office as a Class 4 Seasonal Human Resources Assistant in October 2017. She then accepted a Class 1 Human Resources Assistant position in June 2018. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Chinese-Language Area Studies and Sociology from the University of New Haven. She is also currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in College Student Affairs at the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education.
