Nadia is a Human Resources Specialist for the School of Arts and Sciences, Office of Human Resources. She provides administrative support to all SAS departments by providing current and timely guidance and advice to department chairs, managers, supervisors and staff on human resources and personnel matters. Nadia is responsible for the recruitment process of School of Arts and Sciences non-supervisory staff positions (grades 3, 4 and 5) as well as staff temporary class 3 appointments. She also schedules and conducts the SAS New Employee Orientations and provides training on SAS systems. Nadia manages the SAS Class 4 Seasonal Temporary Floater Program and oversees the on-boarding process for the School of Arts and Sciences, which includes I-9 compliance, and payroll processing for Staff, Students and Faculty. Nadia also supervises the Federal Work Study students for the SAS-HR Operations team.
Nadia joined Rutgers University in November 2005 in the Division of Public Safety – Business and Administrative Services. She transferred to the School of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office in April of 2012. She has a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University, School of Management and Labor Relations. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, Douglass College.
