Space Planning and Facilities ManagementThe Office of Administration maintains broad oversight of the School of Arts and Sciences facilities, in seventy-seven buildings across all four campuses. The Space Planning and Facilities Management office provides support to departments in space planning and management, renovations, capital projects as well as regular repair and maintenance.

The OOA Space Planning and Facilities Management staff liaises between the School and University Facilities and Capital Planning, the Division of Administration and Public Safety, the Office of Scheduling, Space Management and Enhanced Classroom Support, as well as other Central offices that are charged with responsibilities for space. On behalf of the Executive Dean, the Space Planning and Facilities Management office works with SAS departments to manage space allocations between departments and to oversee capital projects that affect multiple departments.
