The Division of Life Science Business Office provides financial management for the departments and centers contained in the division. The primary mission is to manage financial funds for our faculty and staff business partners and to ensure that all funds are in compliance with University Policies and Procedures. This unit is responsible for coordinating and processing all business transactions which will impact the financial state of departmental budgets. These transactions include payroll, travel expenses, administrative expenses, research expenses, and foundation contributions. The Business Office manages funds for State, Designated, Restricted, Grant, and Endowment accounts. The Business Office serves as a liaison to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, Grant and Contract Accounting, Rutgers University Foundation, and University Accounting to ensure that all financial management activities adhere to University Policies and Procedures.
